SEVEN FEMALE GENERALS
In 1782 Deborah Sampson Gannett disguised herself as a man in order to enlist and fight in the American Revolutionary War. It wasn’t until 1917 that Loretta Walsh was able to legally enlist as a woman. Today, we now have three females who rank as Four Star Generals in our military, not to mention the multitudes of enlisted women working hard every day to reach the top. This Veterans Day let us all show our support to all the service members who relinquish their time and safety for our freedom. We thank you all, we honor your sacrifices.
