If you are wondering, yes I already sent out this weeks newsletter. However, seeing that spring is a perfect time for fresh starts, I will now offer my newsletter on Saturdays. I hope you enjoy this list.

 

1.   The Mojito- { Highball } two shots rum ( sub w/ vodka is OK) shot of lime             juice, teaspoon sugar or agave, 10 leaves of mint & soda water. Mash mint           and sweeter together in glass, pour rum & lime juice over ice, top off w/ soda.

 

2.   Lynchberg Lemonade- { Tumbler } one shot whisky, one shot triple sec, half         shot lemon juice & lemonade. Pour whiskey, triple sec, and lemon juice over         ice, top w/ lemonade.

 

3.   Margarita- { Cocktail } one shot tequila, one shot triple sec, one shot lime             juice. Coat rim of glass w/ salt, shake all ingredient with crushed ice, strain &       pour.

 

4.   Easy Colada- { Highball }   (my own concoction)- one shot Malibu Rum, one           shot dark rum, one shot lime juice, half shot pineapple juice, soda water. Pour       rums & juices over ice, top with soda.

 

5.   Sea Breeze- { Highball } two shots of each: vodka, cranberry juice and                   grapefruit juice. Pour all ingredients over ice.

 

6.   Gin Fizz- { Highball } two shots gin, half shot lemon juice, teaspoon sugar ( I          prefer, agave it blends beautifully), soda water. Add gin, juice, and agave to          shaker w/ ice. Shake, strain and pour over ice, top w/ soda.

 

7.   Side Car- {Cocktail } one and a half shots brandy, one shot triple sec, half shot       lemon juice, sugar. Coat rim of glass w/ sugar. Shake all ingredients with               cracked ice. Strain pour, enjoy.

 

I have added the standard style of glass used in { }. And, if I may make one, very important suggestion; always use high, quality liquor and please drink responsibly.
