Seven things that "Once a day keep the Doctor away"
This list contains 7 things that many say if you take some each day you will live a long healthy life. I suggest you speak to your doctor before beginning any of these regimens.
1. Apples. "Eat an apple on going to bed, and you'll keep the doctor from earning his bread." So what's so healthy about apples? First, they contain pectin which can lower both blood pressure and glucose levels. Throw in some Boron which supports strong bones and a healthy brain. Add Quercetin, studies show it can reduce the risk of various cancers and so much more. Vitamin C. Yes please. How about a few phytonutrients, such as vitamins A and E and Beta Carotene. These compounds can reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes and asthma. Anything else? Oh ya apples also act as a toothbrush.

2. Noni juice. "A shot a day keeps all your ailments at bay." Noni (Indian Mulberry) is a tropical tree found in the Pacific and Asia. It's use has been documented for thousands of years. All parts of the tree are used for every ailment under the sun. However the juice, which is made from the fermented fruit, is what we are talking about today. The smell is horrible which is why it is also lovingly called, "Stink Fruit" here in Hawaii. Best taken in small doses here are a few reasons Noni makes the list; Treats Arthritis, lowers risk of Gout, boosts energy and immunity, moisturizes skin, fights aging, prevents Cancer, treats Fever and scalp irritation and don't forget Noni can reduce stress.

3. Apple cider vinegar. "Small shot a day helps you live another day." My sister's husband's mother (is there a better term?) turned me onto this. She is strong, beautiful, healthy and happy so I believe her. Here are just a few reasons to give Apple Cider Vinegar a shot. Aids in weight loss, reduces cholesterol, lowers blood sugar levels and improves symptoms of diabetes. Vinegar can help kill pathogens, including bacteria which aids in treating nail fungus, lice, warts and ear infections. It is linked in lowering cases of heart disease by lowering cholesterol and triglyceride levels, along with several other heart disease risk factors. There are also some studies showing that vinegar reduces blood pressure and can kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Some say it boost energy and in my experience, it does.
