December 2019, is going to be an amazing time to sit back and watch the sky.  All month long, the interstellar Comet 21 / Borisov or the “Christmas Comet” will be visible in the night sky. We will also experience an Annular Solar Eclipse better known as the “Ring of Fire'' Eclipse. However, this list is all about the Meteor Showers, 8 in all.  Starting on the 2nd of December the Pheonicid Meteor Shower will be at its peak.So sit back, cuddle up and let the showers begin.

2.  December 7 – Peak of the Puppid-Velid Meteor Shower

 

3.  December 9 – Peak of the Monocerotid Meteor Shower

 

4.  December 14 – Peak of the Geminid Meteor Shower

 

5.  December 16 – Peak of the Comae Berenicid Meteor Shower

 

6.  December 20 – Peak of the December Leonis Minorid Meteor Shower

 

7.  December 23 – Peak of the Ursid Meteor Shower
